Durable power of attorney
Authorized to arrange durable power of attorney, provide preliminary instructions for the appointment of a guardian and an of expression of will document under the law; representation in guardianship procedures and appointment as legal representatives; assistance in the management of family assets and mediation between legal representatives to prevent disputes
Real estate taxation
Tax planning prior to transactions, obtaining prior approvals from the tax authorities, support for the drafting of agreements with emphasis on tax aspects, including preparation of reports on transactions for the tax authorities, self-assessments, and representing clients in discussions with tax authorities throughout assessment procedures.
Commercial law
Establishment, consulting, and ongoing legal support for corporations: Companies, partnerships, non-profits, and associations. Owner and Founder
Attorney Joanna Salem-Zohar is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University and has held an LLB degree since 2006.
In 2016 she established her law firm after gaining over ten consecutive years of experience as a hired lawyer in two leading Jerusalem law firms – the office of Adv. Elisheva and Michael Shaked, and the office of Adv. Asher Axelrod and Co.
Attorney Joanna Salem-Zohar has represented thousands of clients, providing them with legal advice and fulfilling a wide range of roles that have given her professional expertise and extensive knowledge in various legal areas. She has also managed commercial and real estate contracts on a large scale, served as legal consultant for numerous associations and corporations (both private and government-owned), managed some of the largest estates in Israel, and handled the dissolution, rehabilitation and restructuring of associations and companies among the largest in the Israeli economy.
2013 – Completed a mediation course at the Israel Bar Association.
2017 – Certified as a public notary.
2017 – Appointed as special administrator and trustee of bankruptcy assets on behalf of the Ministry of Justice – the Official Receiver.
2018 – Appointed to the ethics committee of the Israel Bar Association, Jerusalem District.
2018 – Authorized by the Ministry of Justice to draft durable power of attorney, preliminary instructions for the appointment of a guardian, and expression of will documents under the law.
2020 – Appointed as a trustee on behalf of the Official Receiver in the Ministry of Justice for the management of debtors’ assets in the field of insolvency in the Jerusalem area.
Shlomo Zohar
Attorney
Graduated from the Faculty of Law (L.L.B) and holds a bachelor's degree in economics and Sociology (B.A) from Bar-Ilan University.
Adv. Shlomo Zohar has significant experience in commercial law and insolvency, as well as expertise in strategic management and commercial negotiations to achieve optimal results for the client.
He provides legal advice and represents clients in insolvency proceedings, handling all aspects related to these proceedings, from beginning to end, both from the court's side, in the capacity of Adv. Johanna Salem-Zohar as trustee in insolvency proceedings in the Jerusalem district, and from the debtor's side, in his capacity as representative of debtors on behalf of the Legal Aid Office in Ashdod.
Extensive legal experience in representing private clients including debtors and creditors; appearing in courts and managing litigation in insolvency proceedings in the execution office, in the various courts; with extensive knowledge in receiverships, drafting of commercial agreements, and drafting durable power of attorney.
Adv. Shlomo Zohar has excellent working relations with government authorities, banks, municipalities, media bodies, and many different commercial companies.
Ms. Etti Ofir
Administrative manager in the fields of real estate and bankruptcies
Ms. Ofir began her career in the firm upon its establishment in 2016.
Has over 25 years of experience in managing law offices, with expertise in real estate and contracts.
In the ten years prior to joining the firm's team, she managed the real estate department and carried out complex real estate registrations at a large, well-established law firm in Jerusalem.
Ms. Ofir provides professional support for real estate transactions in the office, manages condominium registration and parcellation, addresses registration deficiencies, and provides professional solutions in the field of bankruptcies.
Ms. Adi Naftali

Ms. Naftali joined the firm in 2023, with background in real estate and contracts, housing companies, representation of contractors, and TAMA (National Outline Plan). In our firm she provides legal services in the areas of insolvency, real estate and contracts, assisting the firm's lawyers in delivering legal services to its clients.
